See below for the rules regarding Lotteries/Lucky Dips, Raffles, Giveaways, and Banks in SmallWorlds.
Banks. These are advertised services where players set themselves up as a banking service and hold tokens, gold or items in virtual storage for you. As SmallWorlds itself is not limited in the amount of gold, tokens of items you can personally hold in your account the only real purpose for this service is to engage in role play scenarios.
However in order to make a deposit to this kind of service the customer has to relinquish ownership of the item, gold or tokens via gifting or trading, or selling for a small amount.
The number of reports where people have been taken advantage of or had their trust abused means this service is unacceptable.
Players who offer this service will be warned, and if the behaviour continues they will be banned from SmallWorlds.
Spaces advertising this service or designed for facilitating this service will be closed down, and the owners warned, and if the behaviour continues the player(s) may be banned from SmallWorlds.
Players who use this service and lose any items/gold/tokens will not be compensated in anyway by SmallWorlds. If any player relinquishes any gold/tokens/items on trust they do so at the own risk.
Lotteries, Lucky Dips, Raffles, or Giveaways. These are advertised as raffles/competitions/giveaways and often feature unspecified and/or wrapped gifts.
These can often be a scam, and we advise people not to play these games of chance. However these can be valid games and come with a risk that players must decide for themselves to take or avoid.
